Home Organizer – Experience is a must

Part time initially, potentially leading to a full-time position



Pay for this position is between $15 and $20 an hour.


SUMMARY: Merry Maids professionally helps organize customer homes using Merry Maids’ unique organizing procedures and products.  Overall objectives help our client get organized and to stay that way with proper organizational tools and support.



  • You must be an Organized and reliable person in your personal life.
  • Uses Merry Maids’ procedures to organize and clean a client’s home
  • Meet customers goals and preferences in terms of organizational needs
  • Declutter clients home with the guidance from the client.
  • Pack up client’s items in bins that should be donated or removed from the home
  • Organize client’s space to make it easy for the client
  • Clean the space from top to bottom
  • Label client bins to make it easy for client to stay organized
  • Ensure that the client’s space is visually appealing and easy to use
  • Contributes to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contributes to the overall team effort of the company including being in uniform, dependable and on time.
  • Has respect and understanding for co-workers.
  • Contributes to the overall goal of maintaining quality customer service.
  • Attends and participates in weekly staff meetings.
  • Performs other reasonable, related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Have empathy and be able to convince clients who emotionally may need our services but are unwilling to depart with personal items.
  • Must be customer friendly
  • Able to pack & move 35-pound bins
  • Train our clients to maintain good organizational processes
  • Must be able to work directly 1 on 1 with client


  • QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  You must be an Organized and reliable person in your personal life. The attributes listed above are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability preferred for the position.  




  • Initially we are looking for a person that has done organizing before – either for themselves, the family members or for other clients
  • Ability to define specific areas where we can help organize our clients
  • Ability to drive to and from various job sites as needed.
  • Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew and cleaning solutions along with a customers disorganized house.



  • Valid driver’s license
  • Current liability insurance on automobile



  • Ability to pass criminal background check
  • Ability to pass motor vehicle records check
  • Ability to pass drug screening






PTO time – 1 to 4 weeks depending on longevity with the company
